1. Who We Are

Story Pill ("we", "our", "us") is a digital storytelling app providing read, listen, and watch story content for users of all ages. We are responsible for information collected through this app. For all privacy matters, contact us at storypill.support@brevloy.com.

2. How You Sign In

Story Pill is available on both Android and iOS devices. We use secure third-party sign-in providers for account access.

• Android: Users may sign in with Google Sign-In.
• iOS: Users may sign in with Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In.

When you sign in, we may receive only basic account information needed to create and manage your Story Pill account:

• Your display name
• Your email address
• Your profile photo URL, if provided by the sign-in provider

We do not request access to your Gmail messages, contacts, Drive, Calendar, iCloud data, Apple ID password, or any other private account services.

Data processed during sign-in is also governed by the privacy policy of the provider you choose:

3. Information We Collect

• Account data: Name and email provided through Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple.
• Usage data: Stories you read, listen to, or watch, used to improve your app experience.
• Device information: Device type, OS version, and app version for performance and compatibility improvements.
• Crash reports: Error logs to improve app stability.
• Subscription status: Whether your account has an active subscription, trial, or expired subscription. Payment is handled by Google Play or Apple App Store, not by us.

We do not collect precise location, phone contacts, SMS/call logs, payment card details, biometric data, or sensitive personal information.

4. Advertising

Story Pill contains no advertisements of any kind — no banner ads, no interstitials, no video ads, and no third-party ad SDKs. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

5. Children's Privacy

Story Pill is designed for all ages, including children. Children under 13 should use the app only with the involvement and permission of a parent or guardian.

• Children under 13 must have a parent or guardian set up their account before using the app.
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is needed for sign-in and app functionality.
• No behavioural advertising or targeted advertising is applied to any user.
• Parents may request deletion of their child's account and associated data at any time by emailing storypill.support@brevloy.com.

• To authenticate your identity and maintain your account.
• To provide reading, listening, vocabulary, notes, and story progress features.
• To personalise your in-app experience and improve story recommendations.
• To send optional notifications about new stories or app updates, if enabled.
• To diagnose technical issues and improve app performance.
• To verify subscription access through Google Play or Apple App Store.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing. We may share limited data only with service providers needed to operate the app:

• Google: For Google Sign-In and Google Play subscription processing on Android.
• Apple: For Sign in with Apple and App Store subscription processing on iOS.
• Cloud hosting provider: To securely store account and usage data.
• Crash reporting tools: To diagnose app errors and improve stability.
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect user safety, security, or rights.

8. Payments & Subscriptions

Story Pill may offer paid subscriptions for premium content and features. Payments are processed by Google Play on Android and Apple App Store on iOS.

We do not collect, store, or process your credit card, debit card, UPI, bank, or payment account details. Payment information is handled directly by Google or Apple according to their own policies.

9. Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your Story Pill account and associated personal data at any time.

• In-app: Go to Settings → Account → Delete My Account. Deletion is permanent.
• By email: Send a deletion request to storypill.support@brevloy.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We will process your request within 7 days.

Upon deletion, personal data such as your name, email, reading history, saved words, and notes will be removed. Some anonymised, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained for service improvement.

10. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, personal data is removed within 7 days, unless we are required to retain limited information for legal, security, or billing-related reasons. Anonymised crash logs and aggregate statistics may be retained for service improvement.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact storypill.support@brevloy.com.

12. Security

We use HTTPS/TLS for data in transit and secure cloud storage for data at rest. Access to personal data is limited to authorised personnel and systems needed to operate the app.

13. Where to Find This Policy In-App

This Privacy Policy is accessible at any time from within the app via Settings → Privacy Policy, and may also be linked on our Google Play Store and Apple App Store listing pages.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app, website, or email where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Story Pill mobile application operated by Story Pill ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

Story Pill is available to users of all ages. Users under 13 must have a parent or guardian set up their Google account. By allowing a child to use the app, the parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on the child's behalf.

3. Account Sign-In

Story Pill supports Google Sign-In on Android and Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple on iOS. By using these services, you also agree to the applicable terms and privacy policies of the authentication provider.

4. Licence to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Story Pill for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This licence does not permit you to:

• Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display app content without written permission.
• Modify, decompile, or reverse engineer any part of the app.
• Use the app or its content for commercial purposes.
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract content from the app.

5. Content Ownership

All stories, illustrations, audio narrations, videos, and other content within Story Pill are owned by us or licensed to us. You may not copy, distribute, or use this content outside the app without our express written permission.

6. Advertisements

Story Pill is completely ad-free. We do not display advertisements and we do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes — ever.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Story Pill to violate any applicable laws, harass or harm others, upload malicious software, or attempt unauthorised access to the app or its servers.

8. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Some premium features require a paid subscription.

Subscriptions purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Subscription pricing, billing periods, and available plans are displayed within the app before purchase and may vary by region.

Payment will be charged to your Google Play or Apple App Store account at confirmation of purchase.

Android users can manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play → Subscriptions.

iOS users can manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple ID Account Settings → Subscriptions.

Refund requests are handled according to the policies of Google Play or Apple, as applicable.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete My Account in the app, or by emailing storypill.support@brevloy.com. Deletion is permanent and removes all your personal data within 7 days.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Story Pill is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the app at any time.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Story Pill shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
